The student council is constituted every year in accordance with the University rules and regulations. The executive members of the council are elected by the students. The election to the college student council is conducted on the Parliamentary Mode as per para 6.2.4 of the J.M. Lyngdoh Commission Report. The Student Council facilitates students to engage effectively in co-curricular and extra-curricular activities of the college. They also represent the College at University meetings, Youth Festivals and intercollegiate competitions.
